This light and barely sweet cake is a real treat and is prepared in most Mediterranean kitchens.
It is perfect for any moment of the day, as a snack or accompanied by a delicious coffee in the morning.
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 100ml Minos extra virgin olive oil
- 200ml milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla flavor
- 300g flour
- 1 pack of baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
Preparation:
Baking time: 40 minutes
Difficulty level: easy
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat.
- Mix the eggs with the sugar until you get a creamy white mixture.
- Now add the Minos extra virgin olive oil and the milk and stir until everything is combined.
- Add the vanilla flavor and mix everything together.
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt thoroughly in a separate bowl.
- Now add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
- Now put the dough into a springform pan lined with baking paper.
- The cake now goes into the preheated oven for about 40 minutes.
- Remove from the mold, let cool and enjoy.
