This ajvar feta cream is a delicious dip that goes perfectly with bread, vegetable sticks or pita. It can also be used as a spread for sandwiches or as a side dish for grilled meat and grilled vegetables. Enjoy this Mediterranean delicacy!
Ingredients:
- 150 g Ajvar (mild paprika seasoning paste)
- 100 g feta cheese
- 100 g cream cheese
- 50 g crème fraiche
- 3-4 dried tomatoes in oil, drained and finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- A few fresh basil leaves, finely chopped (save some for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Place the feta cheese in a bowl and mash it with a fork or spoon until it has a creamy consistency.
- Add the cream cheese, olive oil and crème fraîche and mix well until smooth.
- Add ajvar, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic and finely chopped basil. Stir well until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper and adjust the seasonings if necessary.
- Pour the ajvar-feta cream into a serving bowl and garnish with some chopped sun-dried tomatoes, a few basil leaves and a touch of olive oil if desired.
The cream will keep in the fridge for 2-3 days.
