Our pickled feta cubes are incredibly aromatic and have a varied taste. The salty and slightly spicy feta is made even more full-bodied by our high-quality organic olive oil and has a pleasant creaminess. The marinade made from herbs and spices rounds off the taste perfectly and gives the cubes a fine Mediterranean note.
Ingredients:
- 200g Greek feta cheese
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 pair of rosemary needles
- Minos ORGANIC Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Preparation:
Preparation time: approx. 10 minutes
Difficulty level: easy
- Cut the feta into cubes. Depending on how you want to use it, you can adjust the size of the cubes here.
- Put the cubes in a sealable container. A screw-top jar is recommended for long-lasting storage.
- Add oregano and rosemary.
- Fill the container with olive oil so that all the cubes are covered. Shake the container a few times to release any air bubbles.
- Close the container and leave the cubes in the fridge for at least one night. The full flavor will develop after about 5 days.
Tip: Rinse the screw-top jar with boiling water before you put the cheese in it. Alternatively, you can put it in the hot oven for about 10 minutes. Only remove the cheese with clean cutlery and make sure that the cubes are always covered with oil. Store the cubes in a cool place at all times. This way the cheese will last for at least a month.
Tip: You can change or add spices according to your taste. Try adding garlic or chili, for example.

They are ideal as a starter or as a side dish for various dishes. Serve them on an antipasti platter with fresh vegetables and olives or as a topping on a crisp salad. The creamy feta cubes give your dishes a spicy yet mild note that harmonizes perfectly with other flavors. Enjoy them with warm flatbread, grilled vegetables or as a filling in Mediterranean wraps.
