Minos olive oil cake

This light and barely sweet cake is a real treat and is prepared in most Mediterranean kitchens.

It is perfect for any moment of the day, as a snack or accompanied by a delicious coffee in the morning.

Ingredients:

Preparation:

Preparation time: approx. 15 minutes
Baking time: 40 minutes

Difficulty level: easy

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat.
  2. Mix the eggs with the sugar until you get a creamy white mixture.
  3. Now add the Minos extra virgin olive oil and the milk and stir until everything is combined.
  4. Add the vanilla flavor and mix everything together.
  5. Mix flour, baking powder and salt thoroughly in a separate bowl.
  6. Now add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
  7. Now put the dough into a springform pan lined with baking paper.
  8. The cake now goes into the preheated oven for about 40 minutes.
  9. Remove from the mold, let cool and enjoy.
